Sanchez & Amador, LLP

About Us

Sanchez & Amador was formed in 1994 by Richard Amador and David Sanchez. Both lawyers were trained at top national law schools and leading national law firms. They formed Sanchez & Amador with a commitment to doing the highest quality legal work grounded in a thorough understanding of the business objectives of their clients.

The firm is committed to working with high-quality people. Sanchez & Amador selectively recruits attorneys and staff who value excellence, integrity, and creativity.

"We called David Sanchez when we were short on people and needed someone to step in and help with a transaction that needed to be closed expeditiously. The deal was done on time and David did a great job."

George Carrier, Senior Counsel, Wells Fargo Bank

"I have retained Richard Amador's services in defending the bank and individual managers in employment litigation matters. Richard's expertise in employment law, coupled with his strategic and cost-efficient approach to litigation, has landed us some great results, including dismissal of the plaintiff's case all together. In addition to being an outstanding litigator, Richard has excellent customer service skills, which has led other of my colleagues who work outside of California to retain Richard to handle their litigation matters too."

Lupe Valencia, Senior Counsel, Wells Fargo Bank

"Richard Amador is always available to us by phone, email or cell phone. He and the other firm attorneys rapidly respond to all requests. One of Richard's skills is the ability to distill complex legal or factual issues and communicate them in a readily understandable way. Another of Richard's great strengths is his creativity. He is a superb strategist whose ability to 'think outside the box' and approach challenges from many perspectives makes him invaluable to us."
