Jessica M. Iglesias

Jessica Iglesias represents employers in single-plaintiff employment disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and related theories. She also advises management on employment and wage-related issues.

Ms. Iglesias received her law degree from UCLA School of Law in 2011. During law school, she volunteered as a Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She performed summer clerkships with Bet Tzedek Legal Services and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. After graduating from law school, Ms. Iglesias served for five months as a volunteer attorney in the Employment Litigation Unit of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where she assisted in the defense of the city in employment actions brought by members of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Ms. Iglesias graduated, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2005, with a dual degree in Political Science and Sociology. As an undergraduate, she studied one year abroad at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and is fluent in spoken and written Spanish. She also worked for two years as a student researcher for the UCLA Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture at the UCLA School of Medicine, where she managed a community clinic documentary project, conducting extensive interviews of community clinic directors throughout California.

Ms. Iglesias is a member of the California Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Los Angeles, and the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.
