Bradford N. Paul

Bradford N. Paul represents employers in state and federal lawsuits filed by current and former employees for wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wage and contract disputes, and employment-related torts. Mr. Paul represents employers in all aspects of employment law in both the single-plaintiff and class action context in court as well as before governmental agencies, including the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, the National Labor Relations Board, and California’s Employment Development Department.

In addition to litigating employment matters from inception to close Mr. Paul assists employers to ensure compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws, including wage and hour requirements, leave of absence management, arbitration agreements, employee handbooks, and best practices for hiring, assessing, disciplining, and terminating employees.

Prior to joining Sanchez & Amador, Mr. Paul was an employment law associate at Paul Hastings, and Manatt, Phelps, and Phillips, and was a senior associate at Littler Mendelson. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Morehouse College in 2004, and his Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law in 2010. As a law student, Mr. Paul worked in human resources as an organizational development professional, where he developed selection measures, conducted job analyses, and counseled managers on employment matters.

Mr. Paul is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, and the United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California. He was a 2014 Fellow of the National Employment Law Council Academy, an advanced skills training program for competitively selected employment defense associates. Mr. Paul is a member of the California Bar Association and is active on multiple committees in the National Employment Law Council.
