Eric L. Sanders
Eric L. Sanders represents institutional clients in commercial and
real estate lending (including workouts of troubled credits) and in real
estate acquisition and leasing matters.
Mr. Sanders began his legal career at Morrison & Foerster, where he had
a broad-based real estate and commercial lending practice. He
subsequently worked as in-house counsel at Wells Fargo Bank, where he
handled real estate and commercial workouts, and at City National Bank,
where he was the Bank’s senior real estate lawyer and advised clients on
all aspects of real estate including lending, workouts, and the leasing,
sale and disposition of Bank property.
Mr. Sanders’ experience as inside counsel provides him with a unique
perspective on how to serve clients efficiently as well as a sensitivity
to the special requirements and issues faced by financial institutions.
This perspective enabled him to further develop and expand his practice
when he returned to Morrison & Foerster in 2000, and now as a partner
with Sanchez & Amador. Mr. Sanders received his Bachelor of Arts degree
from the University of California, Berkeley in 1983. He received his law
degree in 1987 from the UCLA School of Law, where he was a member of the
UCLA Law Review and the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Sanders served on the Steering Committee of the Real Estate Finance
Subsection of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is a member of
the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Eric L. Sanders
