Banking and Finance Transactions

Linda E. Choe represents banks and other lenders in a broad range of commercial and private wealth financial transactions, including secured and unsecured loans, real estate finance, construction loans, auto-dealer loans, intellectual property-secured loans, asset-based loans, and cross-border loans. Ms. Choe has extensive experience handling complex life insurance premium finance transactions and advising clients on trust authority issues which arise in such transactions. Ms. Choe recently assisted a major bank in a large scale, years long project involving the transition from USD LIBOR to alternative benchmark rates.

Prior to joining Sanchez & Amador, Ms. Choe served as a volunteer attorney in the Housing Division of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

Ms. Choe received her law degree from the UCLA School of Law in 2011, and earned her B.A. in economics and English from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. While in law school, she served as Articles Editor and Managing Editor of the Pacific Basin Law Journal and as a member of the Women’s Law Journal. She held summer clerkships with the Learning Rights Law Center and the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission.

Prior to law school, she worked closely with major marketing agencies as a research analyst at LA 18 / KSCI-TV.

Ms. Choe was recognized as a Rising Star by the Southern California Super Lawyers in 2020 and 2021.
