Commercial Contracts and Technology Transactions

Marco S. Zambrano is a business attorney and partner in the Los Angeles office. Marco’s areas of focus are commercial and business contracts, technology transactions, and secured lending. Marco began his legal career here at Sanchez & Amador, LLP, where he served in the Banking and Financial Services Group and also handled general corporate matters. He then served for 12 years as in-house legal counsel at two multi-national corporations, Nestlé USA, Inc., and Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., before returning to the firm in 2017.

Marco has experience in business and technology contract negotiations from both the vendor and buyer perspectives. While at Nestlé, Marco managed all legal matters relating to technology transactions, data privacy, and cybersecurity, for Nestlé USA, Inc., and various Nestlé affiliates. In previous roles at Nestlé, he managed complex commercial transactions in various categories as Legal Counsel supporting the Nestlé North America Procurement team. Representative practice areas include outsourcing, supply chain, Software as a Service (SaaS); cloud services, privacy statements and polices, website terms of use, market research and consumer insights, marketing and promotions, advertising, contract manufacturing (Co-Man and Co-Pack), customer and sales agreements, and consulting and professional services.

Marco received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Los Angeles in 1995. He received his law degree in 1999 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, where he was a member of the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal. Marco is a member of the State Bar of California.
