Roxanna A. Manuel has almost 25 years of experience representing employers in single-plaintiff employment disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related theories in state and federal court and arbitration. She has substantial experience advising management on employment and wage-related issues, handbook policies, discipline and termination, and sexual harassment prevention.  Roxanna has conducted nearly 50 workplace investigations in the past 15 years, with particular emphasis on highly sensitive personnel issues.

Roxanna began her law career in 2000 at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP. In 2014, she became a founding member of Kupferstein Manuel LLP, where she spent 11 years litigating a wide range of business disputes, including labor and employment matters, breach of contract, unfair competition claims, trade secret theft, employment mobility litigation, and antitrust issues.

Roxanna graduated cum laude, from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was a member of the award-winning Byrne Trial Advocacy Team. She continues her work with the Byrne Team today by serving as a coach, preparing students to try cases in tournaments across the country.  She has a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the prestigious Yale School of Drama, and she utilizes these skills in working with witnesses and attorneys to prepare them for trial and arbitration.
